FOR YOUR EYES ONLY no.2
I’m a total Christmas enthusiast. The moment December 1st rolls around, I dive headfirst into my own little wonderland, with the air steeped in the scents of gingerbread, pine, and cloves. Everything feels wrapped in a cozy, festive glow, and I don’t emerge until the clock strikes midnight on New Year’s Eve.
This year, I reached a personal milestone—finishing all my Christmas shopping by the second Sunday of Advent. And let me tell you, the satisfaction of ticking off that last gift is unmatched. It left me free to wander the city at my own pace, indulging in the luxury of window shopping, sipping on oversized takeaways, and just letting my thoughts drift. There’s something magical about those solo moments, imagining how to make everything around me warm, enchanting, and yes, even a little luxurious in that family-centered way that makes the holidays feel so special.
This is my peak. Christmas has always been my favorite time of year, probably because I’m such a nostalgic soul. It’s about creating those curated, heartfelt memories with family and friends at the center—Christmas is, without a doubt, the epicenter of all that joy.

This year’s Christmas windows at Nordiska Kompaniet in Stockholm, an absolute dream! Each display feels like stepping into a whimsical holiday story, full of charm, creativity, and that perfect festive magic. If you haven’t seen them yet, they’re worth the visit—pure inspiration for the season.
THE WONDERLAND - FYEO Wishlist
This is my wishlist, straight from the heart. For years, Chanel Coromandel has been my signature scent, but Misia has recently captured my heart. With its softer, powdery femininity, it feels like a gentle shift—different, yet just as special. Named after Coco Chanel’s best friend, Misia Sert, the fragrance is said to evoke her essence—a story I find utterly enchanting.
Perhaps I’m drawn to it even more this year because I’ve placed my female friendships at the center of my life. The depth and connection I’ve nurtured with the women around me have brought a sense of safety and inspiration unlike anything I’ve known. When I catch a hint of Misia, I think of them—my closest friends—and how they make me strive to be my best self.
Looking ahead to 2024, I’ve added a few treasures to my wishlist: a squared tote, a timeless premiere watch, and bedding so luxurious it begs for long mornings spent reading. You’ll notice gym clothes didn’t quite make the list—perhaps next year.

HOLIDAY AND DRINKING
As you might know, I’m sober. But with the holiday season in full swing—filled with celebrations and get-togethers—I used to believe that the magic of these moments, those sparkly, heartwarming gatherings, was somehow tied to a glass of champagne or a festive cocktail in my hand. I wondered: how could I enjoy a dinner party or play charades without that little drink to set the tone?
