I’m really looking forward to creating a space for us to connect!
I’d love for you to ask me anything that’s on your mind, and I’ll respond at a specific time. How does that sound?
You have until Saturday at 9 PM to share your questions in the comments below. After that, I’ll close the submission period. This way, I can take the time to give thoughtful and personal answers.
I’ll be sharing my responses with you Monday, November 18th, at 8 AM. If this flies, I’d be happy to make it a monthly thing!
I can’t wait to hear what you’re curious about, Ask away!
Thank you so much for a lovely newsletter and platform. It”s so inspiring and beautiful. I personally would love to hear your thoughts on traditions, now when the holiday season is upon us. I come from a family where we always have celebrated all holidays very carefully and very traditionally in every sense (well, our own traditions, I should say :)) so for me, Christmas for example always started when my Mum took us to Aether & Essencefabriken on Wallingatan late November to buy all the spices we needed for Christmas. After that, November and December was like putting one new pearl to a string after the other. Baking, making candles, advent concerts in Church, making glögg, Lucia - every December week had it’s own scents, smells, music, activity and ambience. It was always magical. Now, after my parents both have passed away, I feel that I keep them alive when I pass these traditions on my children. And in my family, it is not only on Christmas we celebrate like this. Easter, Valborg, Midsummer, Alla Helgona - they all have their ceremonies and rituals. But I always love to hear how other people celebrate, and I love to pick up some new ideas and traditions to weave into our old ones. So, this I would love to hear your thoughts on this, and hear how you celebrate! Maybe an Art of Christmas! Other topics that I love to hear more about from you sometime is around food, scents, favorite restaurants in Stockholm, weekend traditions, love, friendship, - and maybe books that have inspired you on some of these topics! Literature is another one of my favorite things! Thank you Julia and wishing you a lovely weekend! Ps I am Swedish but realize now that I wrote this in English because you posted in English! Hope ok!
Hej Julia!
